Mechanical cleaning matters for gear reduction

In order to extend the service life of gear reduction mechanical equipment, we need to install and clean it according to the specified time. Long term use can also improve the performance of the mechanical equipment after cleaning. However, when cleaning gear reduction machinery, attention should be paid to details, otherwise it may cause damage to the mechanical equipment.

(1) Cleaning of the reducer motor: Both the external and internal parts should undergo good dust removal cleaning; Clean the motor and heat dissipation equipment; Remove rust, etc.

(2) Maintenance of reducer equipment: check the degree of wear, add lubricant as needed, adjust and tighten loose and displaced parts, replace expired vulnerable parts, etc.

(3) Full function testing: inspection and maintenance of peripheral vulnerable equipment, whether the appearance and indicator lights are normal, whether the function and technical indicators are normal, calibration of sensors and oxygen batteries, inspection of safety valves, and pipeline compliance testing.

(4) Maintenance of auxiliary equipment: check the regulated power supply, check the battery, replace the expired Dry cell, check the ambient temperature and humidity, check the grounding, check whether there is direct sunlight, corrosive gas and liquid, and soft and explosive articles.

(5) Inspection of hih-risk components: Check whether the high-temperature, high-pressure, and high-voltage equipment meets the conditions for use, whether there are signs of aging, abnormal odors and sounds, and whether the insulation meets the requirements.

(6) Drainage: Due to the long-term use of high-pressure gas in the gearbox, special attention should be paid to the timely drainage of accumulated water in the air oxygen mixer.

(7) Consumable replacement: Replace consumables that have reached or are about to reach their service life, such as oxygen batteries, sensors, valve plates, valves, and bacterial filters.

(8) Special maintenance: Carry out according to the requirements of the device's operation manual.
